Recalling Martin Luther King’s Courageous March on Washington and his Opposition to War

Martin Luther King’s anti Vietnam War speech got him into a lot of trouble at the time, but it needed to be said and he said it courageously as always.  50 odd years later the same truths need to be heard again, more widely and more urgently than ever before.  Today, on the 50th anniversary of Dr King’s march on Washington DC, we recall his memorable words and hope that they may inspire all who hear them to act, in whatever capacity they may have, to halt this insane, imperial march towards war in Syria.
