Texas Lt. Governor David Dewhurst, one of the top officials in the state, effectively called for Obama’s impeachment on October 15, CBS-11 reported. He accused the President of having disregarded Federal laws on immigration and drug enforcement, and of illegal acts in Obamacare. He also attacked him over Benghazi. Dewhurst called his comments those of a private citizen, but when pressed on that issue by the Texas Observer, he refused to back down, saying, “That happens to be my view, that the man has committed crimes that do not warrant his staying in office.” Truer words were never spoken.
Texas Rep. Steve Stockman recently obtained 435 copies of Aaron Klein’s book, “Impeachable Offenses,” and distributed one to each member of Congress, WorldNet Daily reports. And radio host Glenn Beck called for Obama’s impeachment on Sept 18, the first time he has done so, Brian M. Carey reports, for “arming known terrorists” in Syria.
