As we are bombarded by a media, which day by day seeks to focus us on small and pragmatic thinking, it is necessary, in fact, urgent, to revisit what it means to be human. Lyndon LaRouche used to joke about a famous Abner Dean cartoon in which a man, being carried out in his coffin, sits up with a face of amazement and says, “I wonder what that was all about.” Here from 2009, is a more profound reflection by LaRouche, daring us to take the responsibility of being immortal.
